Where a physically crash-tested product is required, the certified test configuration remains the design basis and should not be represented as equivalent to an engineered calculation.

From Engineering to Manufacturing
Bollards designed and calculated by ebollard can be manufactured through our sister manufacturing company in accordance with ebollard drawings, specifications and engineering requirements.
This arrangement allows us to develop custom metal bollards while retaining control of the design intent, dimensions, material requirements and technical documentation.
It is particularly useful for engineered protection bollards, architectural designs and project-specific solutions where an off-the-shelf model is not suitable.

A Vehicle Dynamics Assessment studies how a vehicle can realistically approach the protected area.
It considers factors such as approach routes, available acceleration distance, bends, turns and other site constraints that may limit achievable impact speed.
This helps the project team select an appropriate HVM performance requirement instead of simply specifying the highest available rating.
