- Concrete sleeve = appearance: the outer concrete cover delivers the visual finish and shape.
- Core bollard = protection: security or HVM performance comes from the internal core bollard and reinforced foundation.
- Design consistency: use the same sleeve look across an entrance line for a clean streetscape.
How to order (what to send us)
- Choose the sleeve design(s): send the page number(s) and a screenshot of the selected concrete cover(s).
- Choose the core type:
- Security core (low-speed impact / storefront protection)
- High Security (HVM / crash-rated) core
- Confirm site constraints: shallow vs deep foundation, coastal exposure, and any height limit required.
- We will propose sleeve integration: sleeve internal diameter/length + fixing method matched to the selected core system.
Important notes
Performance note: Concrete covers are decorative sleeves. They do not create crash rating by themselves. The rating depends on the selected core bollard system and foundation design.
Approval note: Final look & feel (color/texture) should be approved by the client using samples/mock-up before production (typical architectural process).
