SIRA Bollards (UAE)
Your central hub for bollard planning and approvals in UAE. Explore detailed guides and services tailored to site conditions. References to SIRA apply where the project is within scope; installation follows a project-specific Method Statement & Risk Assessment (MS/RA) submitted for approval before works start.

Important: This hub is a generic guide. For live projects we develop a tailored MS/RA, align with the SIRA-approved plan (if applicable), and follow UAE authority/landlord permits.

SIRA Bollards — FAQ

Can installation happen during trading hours?
High-impact works (cutting/excavation) are usually out of hours. Low-impact tasks may proceed behind hoarding with landlord approval and safe access arrangements.
Do all bollard projects in the UAE require SIRA?
No. SIRA applies only where the project falls in scope (e.g., certain site categories in Dubai). For out-of-scope sites, we follow landlord and authority permits (e.g., mall/FM, municipality) and your project’s MS/RA.
How do I choose the right crash rating?
Match threat, approach speed, and stand-off to the site context. See Crash Ratings Explained (IWA 14-1 / PAS 68 / ASTM F2656) or ask us to recommend a class.
What approvals are needed if SIRA is not in scope?
Landlord/mall permits, Method Statement & Risk Assessment, utility NOCs where applicable, and any property/authority permissions. We coordinate sequencing and access windows accordingly.
What documents do you hand over?
O&M manuals, datasheets, compliance certificates, as-built drawings, training records, and recommended PPM. Warranty starts at TOC (Taking-Over Certificate).
Who prepares and submits SIRA documentation?
Typically the owner/tenant’s consultant submits. We provide technical data (models, layouts, MS/RA) and align installation with the SIRA-approved plan before works start.
